Service Techs Tell Us How They Feel About Their Jobs
Minneapolis, MN, April 10, 2006 - Copier Careers, a Minneapolis based niche recruiting firm serving the Document Imaging Industry for over 20 years, just published their fifth Service Technician Salary Survey. The results indicate that job stability is ensured in the Copier Industry for Service Techs. The real story this year lies in the fact that most Service Techs are dissatisfied with management.
Today's copier service technician is a hard worker; with few exceptions male;.approximately 36.9 years of age and should know his job well since he's been working in the industry - most likely for an independent copier dealership - for nearly 7.5 years. What may not be obvious is that he's not all that happy in his current position, has some issues with his employer, and is keeping his options open in the event a better position presents itself.
Base Pay is the leading component of what matters to Techs in their jobs, with Benefits being of second importance and Financial Stability third. Of course, as in all surveys, bonuses still play a big part in whether or not a Service Technician stays in their current position. Visit www.copiercareers.com/survey for the entire salary survey study to learn more.
Service Technicians answered this survey online anonymously. They just logged on to CopierCareers.com and answered a series of questions related to their particular job description. Copier Careers then compares results from last year's study and industry expert Scott Cullen writes and publishes the survey in ENX magazine. Survey is published in the April edition of ENX Magazine. For a hard copy of the survey, please contact Copier Careers directly at 888-733-4868.
Copier Careers is fully committed to the industry and they are the only search firm you can retain that's solely dedicated to the staffing needs of Independent Copier Dealerships.
